We had a trip by minibus to Alpaca & Unicorn Adventures in Tring. We met Sam and Bill (the owners) who introduced us to their 8 alpaca boys and 2 ponies.
The alpacas had halters on so we could stroke their necks (they don’t like being touched anywhere else).
We got to feed them too and had our photos taken.
We also got to groom the ponies.
Choosing drinks and home made cakes at the café is always popular. Plus we had time to spend in the gift shop.
It was lovely being in such a lovely place and we’d all like to go back and see Sam and Bill again. One of our members loved the fact that one of the alpacas had the same name as him!
