SNAP

SNAP is run in conjunction with Dacorum and St Albans Mencaps and offers specialist playschemes for children with disabilities providing a lifeline for parents esepcially during the long summer holidays. There is a high staffing ratio and all staff are trained and CRB checked.

The scheme offers a service to young people aged three to nineteen years old, who have learning difficulties of varying severity. Some children/young people may also have physical or sensory disabilities and/or behaviour that is challenging.

We are a specialist provision, which means all of our service users have a disability of varying severity.

The schemes are based in local schools and provide play opportunities for over 200 young people. The scheme runs during the Easter, Christmas and Summer holidays in Dacorum, St Albans/Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City/Hatfield Areas.
