Support and Development Project, Julia Goffin

As the Suport and Development Worker, I offer advice and support to families and carers who have children with learning difficulties.  This many mean help and information over the phone or a home visit if you prefer.  I can also advise which other services may be of use to you and help you to contact them.
 
I work closely with schools, CSF, health visitors and other professionals to help co-operation and communication between the agencies. 
I have direct links to other organisations which may be of use to you.
 
I addition I co-ordinate a Parents' Support Group where you can make friendships and you can discuss issues and share ideas with people in similar circumstances.  We often have specialist speakers at the group in response to the members' needs.
